what our parents are saying
Testimonials“I have been bringing my son to Grace-A-Child at Radford for four years, and I highly recommend this wonderful facility to parents for children of all ages. Being a single father there are limited options available for before and after school day care, five days a week. When I discovered GAC at Radford I was so happy to know my son would be taken care of by professionals who truly care about his well being and continuing education. I cannot express strongly enough the level of interest and concern of the staff who work there, especially Lesley Lively who has taken over as the new coordinator. She is such a blessing to all the kids and the staff members, and super helpful whenever I need questions answered or concerns addressed. Everyone who works there is friendly, well trained and trustworthy. I have brought my son to daycare and summer camp the last three years in a row and it has allowed me to continue to work full time and provide for my family without having to worry about costs or time constraints. When we experienced a bad ice storm and the roads were blocked I was running two hours late, but the staff made sure all the kids were taken care of and happy while they waited. Everyone who is in Radford and surrounding areas that needs childcare should definitely check them out. Located conveniently next to McHarg Elementary for K-2nd Grade, and they provide shuttle to Belle Heth Elementary for kids in grades 3-6. It is a faith based facility and strives to give all kids a safe place to stay until Mom or Dad can pick them up, while instilling them with Christian values. Grace-A-Child is the best! Five out of five stars!”
“We have been bringing our son, Patrick, to Radford Grace-A-Child since he was 3 months old. We both work full time and have always felt comfortable leaving Patrick with the caring and capable staff at RGAC. It’s clear that the teachers take the time to get to know each child and their unique personalities, likes and dislikes, and special needs. Over the first year of his life, Patrick had some health problems and RGAC was extremely diligent with him and understanding when our schedule got a little unpredictable. Patrick loves going to daycare and has never had any separation anxiety at drop off! It’s obvious he loves being with his teachers and classmates and we are grateful to have such a wonderful group of people to care for our son.”
“Our daughter, Bella, began attending Grace-A-Child in Christiansburg back in 2014 and our son Mateo, started in 2015. It was such a peace of mind to be able to check the webcams while we worked. It is hard going back to work after having a new little one but I can say GAC made this transition so much easier.
The lead teacher from the infant room, Amanda Weddle, who cared for both of our children STILL works there! I can’t say enough amazing things about her and the infant and toddler room staff.
We wish there was a GAC here in Louisiana that we could send our other little ones to!!!
Bella is now in Kindergarten and is exceeding expectations in her age group. Mateo will be starting in September this year and I expect the same results. Sending our children to Grace-A-Child was one of the BEST decisions we ever made.
We highly recommend you consider this facility when choosing a child care for your children!
